Organization involvement in research for health:
The MMI Network has developed a consistent research policy (2009), referring to two main challenges for NGOs related to research: ?Get evidence into NGO policy and practice!? and: ?Get NGO practice into research!? Based on this policy document, and as a result of a strategy development process within the Network, MMI added the task of developing new partnerships between NGOs and research institutions to its strategic plan 2011-2015: ?By the end of 2015, the MMI Network will have contributed to the establishment of mutually beneficial and productive working interfaces between Network members and research institutions both in the North and South.?

Marketplace for NGOs “in search of research” and young researchers
You will find here first proposals "NGO in search of research: our request – and our offer". These proposals are not binding, but shall allow the start of a dialogue. The Medicus Mundi International Network is setting up this marketplace, but will leave it up to the interested parties (NGO, researcher, training institution) to lead this dialogue, to eventually agree on terms of cooperation and to establish an appropriate contractual relation.
